Cytisus 'Boskoop Ruby'

I've been catching up with Shirley and hearing all about her latest cruise today, and I've also been meaning to get together with Angela who called me yesterday to tell me that P. is ill.  Good friends are so precious and I'm feeling a little bit guilty about neglecting them recently;  time goes so quickly and we always assume we have all the time in the world until we have it brought home sharply that we don't. 

I took several shots of various plants and flowers today, and this isn't what I had in mind at all  -   but when I uploaded my memory card to see what I'd got, this was the one shot I really liked.
