Cat rescue

We had a very slow day recovering from the late night. We had a pizza for lunch and then watched a film. Late in the afternoon we drove to the next town to try to get money out of the ATM but weirdly it didn't accept Visa and my Mastercard didn't work either. We stopped at a restaurant for 'tempeh', our favourite local dish, tofu with a delicious spicy sauce.

By then it was dark (after the amazing sunset in the extra photo which really was that colour!) and on the drive back we found a tiny kitten which had been abandoned by the side of the road. It barely moved and was clearly in need of care. We took it to the nearest guesthouse but they said we'd have to look after it ourselves so we took it home with us and gave it some food, water and TLC.

Within an hour or so it was moving and seemed to be ok. It's such an adorable cute kitten, I can't believe anyone could leave it like that.
