ATM search

Stef and I rented scooters and went to the other side of the island to find an ATM that actually worked. We'd been told there was a town with an ATM that took Visa, however we tried all three of the town's machines and none worked. We chatted to some locals, had some lunch and drove back to escape the incoming rain. We stopped off at a nice little cafe on the way back and had some superb homemade ice cream (mine was durian and coconut).

I needed to pay cash for my 8 nights at my guesthouse so we had to get a boat over to the mainland with one of the scooters and drive to a town that we knew for sure had proper ATMs. It took almost all day but finally we had money (literally millions) and could enjoy the evening.

We booked a boat and bus for the next morning so it was our last night on the lake. We went back to our favourite spot for dinner to have one last taste of their amazing tempeh (pictured). I'm gonna miss it!
