Jenner's Bank, Mote Park

What a day for weather. Only a few minutes after this shot was taken another sharp shower dumped rain on us, the second we'd experienced on our walk. Fortunately we were wearing the right gear so it didn't really matter.

The morning had been fine really, black clouds drifting past away to the south which enabled me to get the grass cut and tidied before lunch. It was after lunch that the fun really started with hailstones as well as rain. No thunder, although it seems there were many lightning strikes in other parts of the country on a day when the weather was particularly volatile and aggressive.
