Rose-tipped Worm (Aporrectodea rosea)

It's 2.30 pm and it's been raining ALL day. Not a spider, fly or beetle to be found, not even a slater:-(   Plenty of slugs, snails and worms though:-)  This wee worm (about 1cm) was crawling up a foxglove leaf, so he may not be a an insect but he can join them for today lol!  There are 27 species of garden worms in the UK and some can grow as long as 8 inches, but I believe this wee beastie is the Rose-tipped Worm, Aporrectodea rosea, which usually grows to only 5 cm.
