Purple Sunbird

This Purple Sunbird was really in the shadows on this palm tree but I was able to digitally lift him out of the dark without suffering too much noise. If you look closely his tongue is poking out! Amazing what detail is captured on a photo that would have gone in the bin! Isn't technology incredible! I'm now totally fascinated by my Crow friends or Corvids-birds that think like humans-and have now read lots of articles about them. I'm going to give them peanuts in their shells and make sure each one has his or her own so they don't bicker, although I saw one bury his piece of apple and then try and take his friends!
