Indian Roller amongst dates.

This is the first time I've got a photograph of an Indian Roller in a more natural position, as they love telegraph poles, wires and street lamps. This one is on a date palm and you can see the dates looking more like olives! This one is in lovely condition with stunning metallic turquoise feathers and those unusual pale ended feathers around his neck. Seriously hot here so he's cooling off in the relative shade.
