Lapwing Chick (week 4)

Well here is the Red-Wattled Lapwing chick, nearly four weeks on! Hasn't he(or she)grown, it now has proper feathers coming instead of Axminster carpet on its head and body! Plus it now looks really sweet again, I think it looks a bit like the cartoon 'Road runner' and it can run, not relying on staying still it now takes off into the bushes and long grass and runs the opposite way from its parents. I have so enjoyed following this little chicks progress!
