Drastic measures .......;

Implemented to curb anti-social behaviour in Luton .

Oh, if only it were possible.

An uplifting story for the weekend.

This week's edition of 'For the love of cars'. The team restore an old 1970s Volvo that the previous owner had brought as a restoration project but sadly never finished as he succumbed to cancer. The car wen to auction and the money raised was to go to his widow. The car sells for £9,000 and was bought by a property developer. He is interviewed and told the story behind the car at which point he asks for the cameras to be turned off. When we return, he informs everyone that he lost his brother to cancer 13 years ago and as a good will gesture he wanted the car to be re-auctioned and for the money raised from the second sale to go to cancer research. One car, sold twice and two worthy causes benefit.  Sniffle.
