I love yew

We went a very long and beautiful way home.
One of our favourite stop-offs is always at Fortingall, to pay respects to the amazing 4000-year old yew. If you can spot the wooden pegs in a circle on the ground, they show the original circumference; bits have been lost over the centuries, especially to Victorian souvenir hunters, but this is all one mighty tree.
