More hides

After breakfast we headed down to the Loch of the Lowes for more osprey watching. As usual, it was only possible to see the top of the female's head over the edge of the nest, but happily, these Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus) were paddling about and diving just in front of the hide.
A sort of Japanese print effect to this one?
After the drive home, it was a busy afternoon of voting, dosing the allotment with anti-slug nematodes and editing photos for backblipping and later uploading to The Other Photosite.
M did shopping and cooking, too, bless her. What a treasure she is, to be sure :)
