Cunard and Liverpool Celebrate 175 years

Today was day one of the three day Cunard festivities in Liverpool .This morning I set off to see the Queen Mary2,  docked and awaiting the The Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria . ( they arrive tomorrow )
The day was rather grey until late afternoon but this didn't dampen any of the wonderful party atmosphere .I went on one of the Mersey Ferries to get excellent views of this most wonderful liner .Any shivers I experienced were not due to the breeze ,rather the sheer beauty of this astonishing liner. The large windows of the Liverpool Museum caught the reflection of the vessel and I liked it enough to include .As for me A red carpet selfie was permitted .
