Wild flower meadow

This blip was taken a few yards from Glasgow's bustling High St. The 'meadow' is beside space reserved for a container-grown allotment for city dwellers. Great to see a succession of wild flowers blooming throughout the summer that provide a haven for insects so close to hi-tech buildings and busy streets. I'm sure the rose-red flower is red campion with its five petals, each deeply notched and almost divided into two, and its hairy leaves and stems.
