Fun on the farm

Slept like a log last night, only woken by the alarm at 8.45! Think I would have slept until about 10 given the chance but we had to be ready for 9.30 to pick up granddaughter no. 3 for the day.

We went out to a local pick your own, as hub wanted to get another cucumber plant. The farm has a play area, so at least it was still dry this morning so Emily could play a while!
As you can see here....she is getting quite tall!

After lunch we played Monopoly, Cluedo, colouring and watched Cinderella, again!!

I watered all our pots and baskets, and our neighbours, as they are away for a few days....the watering can wasn't pouring properly so I removed the nozzle to clear the debris blocking it......imagine my horror, when a tiny baby bird fell out onto the lawn!!!! It must have either fallen out of the nest or tree, unless it perished and has been cast out?!!

Then hub watered all the potatoe containers and sacks with the hosepipe....we had just come back indoors, and typically, it started to pour down!!!!!

Daughter picked up Emily and I checked with my photography tutor about our supposed off site photo shoot for this evening..........:-( cancelled because of the rain!!!

When is this weather going to book up?????!!!!
