Learning day by day

Ballet on a bridge

Well the plan had been to go to Butterfly World but as I was given a lie in plans changed.

Mid morning we headed to Hitchin. Cary needed to change a t-shirt she had been given for her birthday for a bigger size. Luckily Dance had one left, an age 12, but it is a better fit and she will get more wear out of it.

We then went to open Carys an account at the Halifax, only to be told by the branch manager?!? that there was no one in who could open an account for her. Ridiculous, so we have to go back on Friday. If it wasn't such a good rate of interest I would politely explain what they could do with their account. Not the best experience for a child excited about opening her first account with her own pocket money.

Library books returned, we refuelled, met Daddy, picked up a parcel from Australia and scooted home.

Carys had exam coaching this afternoon, as it was at Walsworth Community Centre we walked over. I sat and had peace and quiet for 60mins and then we walked back. The rest of the day was spent playing in the garden or ironing depending on who you were.

Tomorrow I go back to the GP and weather allowing we head to Whipsnade for the first time in ages.
