Baby Ringtail Lemur

We had a fantastic day at ZSL Whipsnade (although there were a lot of other people at OUR zoo). So many photos to choose from, but this baby lemur won. We have never seen the lemurs as active as they were today, they entranced the children, and me, for over twenty minutes. Some sort of record for the boychild.

We were luck with the weather, one show during the first Birds of the World Show (we saw all three). We saw the elephants close up on one of their preambles around the zoo, saw the baby pygmy hippo who we last saw at two days old. The red panda was visible in her tree, a very unusual occurrence. The new butterfly zone was fab, making me slightly annoyed that I have a groupon voucher for Butterfly World as I think we have already done it now.

Carys now wants to return without William as she wanted to read lots of the new signage but he wasn't that interested. That said, he read a large amount of the signs that he was interested in himself, but in a voice that allowed half the zoo to hear about it too.

I am tired, they are tired. Lazy day tomorrow, apart from a trip into Hitchin and an afternoon in London for the Min and myself.
