NIGHT AT THE SOCCER......

.... mentioned a full weekend, and it started today with catch ups and a few family needs, then off to the "friendly" soccer game between Sydney FC and visiting Tottenham Hotspur

What a top night, 71,449 people and let me say it was weird being in Sydney (ANZ Stadium) and seeing a Sydney team who last week just missed out on winning the National series season deciding Grand Final, to have the majority of support for the UK Spurs team.... what an atmosphere.

Although taking a few other shots (the extra shows probably the youngest supporter there) my pic is of a cousin from Perth and Rhys Palmer now one of the GWS Giants Aussie Rules Football players.

My cousin runs a sports promotion business (Mouse Promotions) and has any amount of current and past sports players he works with holding different promotions around Australia. Originally he knew Rhys as a rising young Freemantle AFL player in Perth, and it was good to catch up, due him not playing at present from a broken collar bone.

A most enjoyable game and although Spurs won 1-0, in end Sydney FC played very well giving a lot of the young guns a run as well.

Being a late (back blip for 30th) soon off to Sydney for another VIVID blip meet with locals Newcastle Downunder, Trisharooni, and over form New Zealand TeeJay , and you will note they were in the Blue Mountains today, and Farmer Girl. Looking forward to it.

Enjoy, catch up over the next couple of days.
