Dead Tree

This tree is one of the few remaining in an area scheduled for development. On this rather grey Sunday it seemed a good time to photograph the dead oak  and try out an idea I had for isolating it and emphasising its state. Cutting out the tree took ages and I still haven't got it quite right - much more time needed if I decide to develop the idea further- reasonably happy with the effect though.
