My day was focussed on my painting class here alongside the Esquimalt Lagoon. The building is a former grand home and now the residence of an art collective. They make full use of the building for displays, marketing and classes. 

Our classroom is the former ballroom. It's hardwood floors are now spattered with paint. The windows are large and let in abundant light. We enjoyed the sunroom overlooking the lagoon during our lunch break. 

I don't think I will be showing this painting to anyone. I should be finished on Sunday afternoon.
