Another view from my bedroom window. Is it any wonder Crickhowell is now known as the apex of the Golden Triangle (Hay, Brecon and Crickowell).
 
I couldn’t resist another photo of the campaign to stop Tesco – or any other chain store –moving into the former Corn Exchange. See extra photo.
 
This has become a very covetable place to live, and long gone are the days when it was a sleepy little market town.
 
I was alarmed to hear the average age of people living here is 70. Surely that is a gross exaggeration?  But I have no way of checking.  
 
I do know that those who work here in the service industry can’t afford to live here.
 
We leave  today for Scotland.
