Green Chartreuse

Today's the day ............................. to say cheers

All good things eventually come to an end - and this was the final day with Marc and Marie Claire before they set off for home near Voiron in the south west of France.

So it was a quiet day with time for them to wander down into Kendal and do a bit of last minute shopping.  We had a leisurely meal with lots of wine - finished off with a glass of Chartreuse Liqueur - a present for us that they had brought with them.

It had been so lovely to see them again and spend time with them, showing them a bit of the UK.  It was time to say Au revoir - till the next time ..............................
