Sunshine and Showers

How pleased the owners of the house with the blue door must be when, for a few odd days in the year, the colour matches the sky. Their neighbours next door must see their door toning in with the sky on the other days.

There was of course some respite from total blueness when the omnipresent showers caught one unawares, but it was warm enough in town for me to have to remove a woolly cardigan.

There was a pleasant walk around town indulging in some retail therapy as I went, and now a return home to do some speed knitting.

A great niece by marriage is on the point of swelling the numbers on that side of the family with the imminent arrival of twin girls. I have one cardigan finished, but need to get my skates on with the other one.

I do love this corner of Ramsay Garden tucked as it is up a vertiginous cobbled hill off the Mound and just below the castle. With the scaffording being erected on the esplanade for the tattoo, it must be a noisy corner though.
