.....And now Common spotted orchids

Perhaps the most common of the wild orchids found in my area, the Common spotted orchid Dactylorhiza fuchsii, is exquisite not only in form, but also in the myriad of shades of pink and different shapes the spikes adopt. I really love just walking down the rides this time of year photographing every spike so I can compare them when I upload the shots to my computer...sad Geek that I am!
