Banbury Cross

This is one of those things that's difficult to picture but here is my best shot.

Left home just after 12 & then stopped for lunch at the Pickled Ploughman PH  at Adderbury en route to see mum at the Horton Hospital in Banbury.

She looked very well, if a little flushed and we had over an hour with her before she was whisked off to XRay to check the hip is in ok. When she came back we had another chat before the physiotherapist came to see her. We left at that point with the promise of a return visit on Sunday. The traffic out of Banbury was absolute HELL and it took us 30 minutes to get out of the town. There had been a bad crash on M40 & whether this was the cause we don't know. Once on the Bicester Road it was plain sailing.

Home now & am about to drop C & N at Trudy's for a drink or too to celebrate her news which we heard about today.

I will see her later when I collect the girls.
