Thistle

This morning I walked to the village to post the paper exam scripts back to the Open University and took this picture in our lane.

Today the groundsman who has spent all week sorting out our garden arrived to finish the work, he expected to finish yesterday, but it took longer than expected; the garden is back to its original level and now has to be seeded. Victoria has a week off school now that she has finished her exams and is coming to help in the garden so I should be able to get all some of the borders sorted out as well as the small vegetable garden.

Once the groundsman had gone we went to Wickes to get some plumbing bits and pieces and then went to H@me to have a late lunch. I had been once before, but Bill had never been, but it met with his approval.

Other than that a day of doing not very much although I have been catching up on some of the indoor jobs that have been neglected whilst I have been marking.
