Villa Melzi

A visit to Menaggio today takes us past the Villa Melzi. This villa is not open to the public though it is possible to visit the gardens. I think this is one of the most elegant villas on the lake.

The best time for visiting gardens has already passed, most are at their best late April though to the first half of May. The jasmine in our garden is still in flower, but possibly not for much longer.

Return to Lenno by bus.
