Laburnum fever

Had a truly wonderful day today with my friend A at Bodnant Garden.  These National Trust gardens span 80 acres and are situated above the River Conwy and look across the valley towards the Snowdonia range in North Wales. Their Laburnum Arch is visited by up to 50,000 people in the month when it is in flower (late May / early June).  I've been twice before and missed the flowering by a week or so each time, so third time lucky and a beautiful sight it was too.  I wish I could have taken a photo down the full length of the arch, but there were just too many people.  The gardens are truly stunning and I definitely recommend a visit.
