Cleveleys Car Show

Mr A & I usually struggle to find things to do at the weekend (not that it stops us from going out & about), so when I saw an ad for the Car Show last night, we decided that would be a great way to spend the day.

We got up early, had breakfast and set off in Cav; top down Cav, not me and the wind in our hair.
It was quite breezy, but warm in the sun and just lovely to give Cav a good old run.

The car show was brilliant! Much bigger than we expected and with lots of different cars, ranging from old classics, American classics, sports cars and a few motorbikes thrown in for good measure.

Mr A was very happy to see another cavalier (only the one)!

We discussed putting Cav into an event like this, but after seeing people leaning on and squeezing past all the cars today, we agreed it wasn't a good idea. One kid actually climbed up to sit on the bonnet of one of the American classics, tut! I wonder how many cars will have scratches tonight?

Some of the cars were grouped according to brand; there was a street full of Porsches and today's blip is of the Audi TT selection.
I chose that for today as these were along the prom, so it's a nice view of the beach too.
It was a nice sunny day, but bloody freezing!

From there, we went to Freeport outlet village just a few miles down the road.
I bought my first Christmas presents!!!!

This wasn't planned, but they had 50% off in Gap, so I got his and hers hoodies for Theo & Theia.

As we got up so early, the day seemed to last forever, but it was nice to have been out and done something and still have time to chill out at home.

We had a chill in the conservatory, doing a spot of birdwatching; we had a Jay in the garden last night, the first we've ever seen. We hope we will see him again, he was lovely :-)
