Out with the old

I loaded up Riley this morning and headed off to visit with my parents for the day.  We had a very nice relaxing day.  Mr M, on the other hand, stayed home and did a lot of outside work.  He trimmed one of our very large and out of control forsythia, and also disassembled this old wooden fence from around one of the small flowerbeds.  The weather was lovely - a little cool when the sun went behind the clouds, but very pleasant.
