Seafood Sign

My eye was caught today - at Whole Foods - by this sign about salmon. It's such a lovely chalk sign! Some wonderful artist evidently does these things for the store. I posted the photo on Instagram, wondering about the signs, and a friend said this:

They are mass produced. They use indelible ink and each store has them or a variation of them. However! A real( lucky) artist gets the original job. In fact there is a team of artists in Austin HQ for Whole Foods...I only know this because I know someone applying for a position now.

So now I - we - know!
