Mum's Garden

Merv and I spent a long morning in mum's garden trying to restore a little order.  He doesn't see himself as a gardener (but he is a hard worker), so didn't know what to remove from the more overgrown and straggly areas.  We filled seven sacks and the green bin with the remains of forget-me-nots, purple cranesbill and orange poppies and the weeds they were masking from the back of the beds.  We haven't finished by any means but we made a significant start.  I've chosen this Astrantia bed as my blip because it was looking so magnificent.  The extra is the view over the garden and one of the workers doing their thing.
