Up The Fairy Dancers

 "Up The Fairy Dancers" refers to going off to bed. Especially used re youngsters .Well here in the north it is .Today whilst cycling home I stopped as the Geese ( family with 4 goslings) and those with a family of 5 were together on the Canal . One family had gone ashore and off up the Fairy Dancers . The second family followed shortly afterwards .Mother led the way then the goslings followed on .here I manged to catch 4 of them.Father stayed down on the canal keeping a water patrol. From time to time ,mother would look over the wall above and down at him .
