Summer!

We met our daughter and granddaughter at Monk's Cross (York) for coffee and then drove to Beninborough Hall (a National Trust property).

We sat in the walled garden for a picnic, it was very warm in the sun and Jessica enjoyed herself although she is not keen on the feel of grass and didn't venture far off the picnic mat!

We walked through the woods and there were some nice acer trees with lovely coloured leaves. I liked this view of the leaves with the blue and green in the background.

After a short time in the kiddies playground we stopped for a cup of tea -  we had a voucher for free pot for two!
