Sharp shadows

Wandered into town at lunchtime to take a break, and visited the churchyard where the strong sun made the lettering on the headstones look sharp. Particularly on this one, but maybe this was also because the wife's maiden name was Mason!

Also spent a bit of time trying to photograph my ceanothus (see extra). 

Otherwise it's been another day at home doing dull but worthy work, finally finishing my assessment of a very boring PhD thesis. TFIF
