Rhododendrons

It's not often private gardens can boast of impressive displays like this but one house in Ledcameroch Road, Bearsden has this impressive 'wall' of rhododendrons next to the road that towers about 30 feet from the ground. I even heard a tale that some local schoolboys chapped the owner's door and asked the secret of growing such giant specimens. My first instinct was that this was a decoy and one of them would have scarpered round the back and be up to some mischief. But seemingly not - just a bunch of budding gardeners - or maybe a dare!
