Quod oculus meus videt

Rain, Rain and More Rain

I hadn't even bothered to take the camera of the tripod after yesterday's image.

A quick foray into the garden, making sure the lens was pointed downwards to protect it from the constant rain.  One thing it tends to do is intensify colours.   love our Acer palmatum atropurpureum, which is now over 20 years old.  It always offers a wonderful display throughout the summer.

Many thanks for the encouraging words yesterday.  I fully intend to spend some time visiting journals this week to catch up on your work.
