Larch Cottage

As I think I have mentioned we are planning some changes in a well established part of the garden.  BY way of looking for inspiration and a bit of a treat we decided to have a run out to Larch Cottage Nursery a garden centre we have rather neglected in our visits of recent years.

It is quite unlike any other garden centre I know.  The owner is also a landscape gardener so as well as the masses of plants, many of them unusual, he has created gardens studded with sculptures and "ruins".

The gardens blend into the areas where the plants are for sale and makes a very interesting wander.  This is looking through one of the arches in a "ruin" to a rather nice secluded area.  After we had a good look round we went into the cafe for a coffee.  While in there we spotted a wren gathering food for young.  Clickychick was determined to get a shot so when we had finished she started the hunt and managed to get this shot.
