If you can't beat them...

Petunia

The day started like any other Sunday - a lie in.

The afternoon was filled with tree surgery at FredaH's followed by jungle fighting Reserve managementgardening in our own garden. This radically reduced blip possibilities so I resorted to wandering round the garden (again!) looking for blips. It ended up with a choice between the pink edges of the new growth on the variegated holly. Surprising because the edges are gold in the mature leaves. Or Petunias in the hanging basket by the door. The DoF is so narrow that the edges of the flower trumpet are out of focus while the centre is in focus.

Petunias are a group of plants related to Solanums (potatoes,Chillies,Tomatoes etc) originating as you might expect in South America.
