Winter is here

Today never really got going. The cloud hung low with a little watery sun around midday. By mid-afternoon the biting fog had returned casting a bitter pall across my local park.

I popped into my new work place Streamliners today. My paperwork is signed and all going well I've done everything I should have. I saw my desk, met a few people and promptly forgot their names. There will be a bit of that for a while. 5 more big sleeps and I start.

Other than that it was mostly a day about washing machine and drier combos. Now I'm barely awake.

The Father ship has gone to bed and very shortly I'll be headed that way too.
