Weeds

Another lovely day with Dad. I managed to get washing dry enough to finish off in the hot water cupboard. We went out and I bought a fancy new washing machine and drier combo.

It will be a fantastic addition and make good use of my wee laundry alcove. My current washing machine leaves tomorrow to take up a new role with a family in need. I hope it's as reliable for them as it has been for me.

A few other bits and bobs and while Dad had his afternoon sleep, I popped up the hills where I found these weeds among the old volcanic rocks.


We're both tired but at least he has an excuse, I'm not sure what mine is. Snow is forecast for Christchurch late tomorrow and into Monday. That will be a new experience for Dad ;-)
