Me and Dad

We had a Father Daughter project to replace the shower head today. It worked and together with the replaced bathroom heater (electrician, not us), showering is a transformed experience.

While Dad rested I saw my old washing machine on it's way. I hadn't expected to see it leave in the back seat of a Ford Falcon but it did - just. Hopefully it will continue to be a reliable work horse for a family in need.

A bit of cleaning later and my laundry alcove is ready for tomorrow's deliver of my new washing machine drier combo :-)

A little drive, spot of afternoon tea in a lovely cafe attached to my local garden city and then a hunt for new socks for Dad.
