Midsummer Breakfast

Actually the breakfast is mostly leftovers from the evening before.  We ate it outside, on another sunny and warm day
Left to right and top to bottom…
Sourdough baguette, potato salad and dill, eggs, herring fried in breadcrumbs and then pickled, gravad lax with a mustard and dill sauce, herring in mustard sauce, smoked white fish.
Delicious!
Later in the day there was another walk, another snack and then our guests drove home.
We packed for our trip to England, and finished the day by watching Sweden lose 4-1 to Germany in the World Cup.  So that’s it for another four years. The Swedish women really didn’t do as well as expected but this may be a sign that other teams/countries are beginning to take women’s football more seriously too.
