Grey Chicks Against a Grey Wall!

Popped into work this evening to print out our tickets for tomorrow.  While there we looked for the seagull chicks that were wandering around about a week ago.  At first we couldn’t find them but the parent bird was on sentry duty so we knew they were still alive and somewhere near us.
We drove slowly by and suddenly saw them. Their camouflage is really good and it was only the massive amounts of seagull poo nearby that gave away their position.
The three are now two  but they are obviously getting food and water and looked healthy enough.
I grabbed a few shots and then we drove on as they probably need their rest and I didn’t want to chase them away from that comfortable patch of moss they seem to have made home.
Today was the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.  Now every day gets a little shorter until we reach Midwinter, 6 months away!
