I escaped to the beach this evening, away from sorting and finding places for everything, and found peace and quiet. It was very beautiful. Perhaps my 'escaping' will help with my understanding of the way forward.

I've been discussing my thoughts about the house repairs with friends and family and have decided on the way I want events to proceed from now on. Let's hope the insurance company will be on the same wavelength.
