Grey Skies on Shortest Day

I met a friend for lunch at the super ilex Café in the Botanical Gardens today. The trees in the Gardens are magnificent, including this one, reflected in one of the ponds. Can't remember it's name.

Thanks again for your enthusiastic response to the Shag Rock Fishermen image, 2 days ago. I'm delighted that it ended up on p2 of Popular - such a thrill!

I'm not sure what's happening with the house repairs. The enddate is supposed to be 29 June, but there's a huge amount of work still unfinished. There's an onsite meeting tomorrow - maybe I'll find out more then.
