Seagull...

...at Grant Park Beach. Absolutely gorgeous day--sunny & high 70's with a nice breeze--my favorite kind of day! 
We went to the beach after breakfast & walked out on the observation platform to see what was going on, as the seagulls were squawking & swarming in a huge group off to the side of the walkway. There must have been a huge school of small fish there, as the water was swirling like crazy & the gulls were diving constantly & coming up with little fish in their mouths!  Being on the platform put us at eye level with some of them & I got some nice shots not only of the gulls, but some others around the beach--I put some of them in the extras.
I wish all the fathers, grandfathers & father-figures  out there a very happy & relaxing Father's Day!  :)
