To The Water's Edge

I was up early and went out for a last walk along the shore with Maeve the Deerhound.

The car was packed not long after 9am and as we were about to get in for the journey home we noticed one of the two boats used for coastal rowing being taken down the beach by the old coal pier to the water's edge.

When the boat was in the water we started our journey and made the drive home in good time, only stopping at The Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum for an early lunch.

We had a very full week of not doing very much, and we all enjoyed every single minute.

Extra image ... misty morning on the Kyles (before the car was packed!).

Only weeks until Ullapool ...
