... in Japan is not for the faint hearted. 

Just some of the more traditional bar food (served in an izakaya) in Japan.  As it was fished out of a tank right next to the bar, I can guarantee it's super fresh (you get a glimpse of the tank in the bottom picture.)  With portions like these there is absolutely NO need to fill up on rubbish crisps and nuts assuming you can bring yourself to eat what's on the menu! . And no need for fish and chips or a kebab on the way home either!
