What if?

Red-winged blackbird

This guy has been coming to the feeder and is becoming quite tame. I haven't seen the female. The females are nowhere near as conspicuous and may be mistaken for a sparrow, a largish sparrow! I saw our turkey also last night. I suspect she may have chicks somewhere in the long grass near the creek. Something startled her last night and she ran along, gobbling, and holding her wings out as in a broken wing act. This made me think there are chicks nearby. We must keep an eye out for them.
The extra is another blackbird shot.

Thank you for all your appreciation of the marguerite. They are lovely, clean cut, simple flowers.
