Red Breast

I've been keep my camera with the long lens handy the last couple of days so that if there's the opportunity for a blip, then (in theory) I'm ready.  Yesterday evening we had Jays and Blackbirds in the garden and although the camera was ready, due to a lack of energy I wasn't;  this morning however when we noticed the Robin I was "on the ball".  I was surprised at how well groomed he looked as I know many birds are starting to moult at this time of year.

Anyway I must get a move on now as we're expecting family visitors today;  my blip's done and uploaded and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and all enjoying a good meal together.
